The week runs almost entirely inside the plan: school, The Avenue Viera for errands and dinner, a wetlands trail or community pool in the afternoon, and one of the medical campuses close enough to be a routine stop rather than a special trip. I-95 sits right at the edge, so the beach or Melbourne is a short drive away when needed.

Groceries, pharmacies and everyday services are inside the plan, and the regional hospital and medical campuses put substantial healthcare unusually close for a planned community of this size.
Seasons
Viera sits inland enough to avoid direct beachfront storm exposure, but hurricane season still runs June through November and brings wind, rain and the possibility of extended power interruptions that I plan for regardless of distance from the coast. Summer afternoons bring near-daily storms; winter is the more comfortable and more visited season regionally.
