One of the largest planned growth areas in the country, built as a series of villages in southwest Orange County, each with its own town centre and school sites.
Talk to DaniHorizon West was laid out on paper before it was built: villages separated by green corridors, commercial cores at the centre of each one, and residential phases delivered over decades. Almost everything here is recent, and construction is still visible along most of its edges.

Here is what daily life feels like: life happens inside the village: community pools, trails, town-centre retail and schools within the same street network. Trips outside the area normally use SR-429.
Something worth watching: this is one of the most active construction areas in the metro, with multiple builders working in parallel phases. Living here during a build-out phase means construction traffic and changing street layouts.
For getting around, here is what you should know: entirely car-based between villages, walkable inside some of them. SR-429 and Florida's Turnpike carry regional trips.
The area

Real life here
Weekdays are short car hops inside a single village: school, the town-centre retail at Hamlin, a community pool, and a loop on the internal trail network before dinner. Weekends often mean the Hamlin lakefront green or a drive to a neighbouring village's own centre, since each one has its own restaurants and events.
Hamlin concentrates most sit-down and casual dining in a walkable retail block, with a cinema attached. Other villages carry smaller clusters of quick-service and casual spots; anything beyond that means driving toward Winter Garden's Plant Street.
Groceries, pharmacies and gyms are distributed village by village, and Hamlin adds a larger anchor supermarket. Hospitals and specialist care are a drive toward Winter Garden or the Dr. Phillips corridor.
Construction activity continues year-round across most villages, so road layouts and neighbouring lots keep changing. Summer afternoons bring the region's usual storms, pushing outdoor plans to morning or evening.
