A fast-growing south Lake County city on the SR-50 corridor, surrounded by hills, trails and former citrus land.

South Lake County on SR-50, west of Clermont and near Florida's Turnpike.
In practice, here is the rhythm you will find: community amenities and the trail system for daily life; Clermont covers most larger retail.
among the most active corridors in Lake County, delivered in sequential phases.
Plan on this for getting around: car-dependent; SR-50 and the Turnpike carry everything.

The area
Citrus-ridge roads climbing toward a chain of clear spring-fed lakes.
Real life here
Newer master-planned communities set the daily pattern, amenity centres, the South Lake Trail for cycling and running, beside a small historic centre and long stretches of former citrus land still being developed. Clermont, a short drive east, covers most larger retail and dining.
Everyday dining is still building out inside the newer communities and along SR-50; you will commonly drive into Clermont for a fuller selection of restaurants and supermarkets.
Basic pharmacies, banks and clinics are arriving along SR-50 as the area grows; hospitals and fuller specialist care are in Clermont, a short drive away.
SR-50 congestion has grown with each delivered community phase, heaviest at commuting hours; the citrus-hill terrain nearby gives the area cooler evening breezes than the flatter corridors closer to Orlando.

Real indicators
These numbers are published per county, not per neighbourhood or community. They show the direction of the market around this area, they do not estimate the price of a specific home.
The midpoint asking price of homes listed across the whole county that month. It is what sellers ask, not what buyers pay, and a county is far larger than a single community, a specific neighbourhood can sit well above or below it.
